The coin seems to have a layer of crud over every inch of the coin. This is the type of stuff I would come across in my business dealings when some one would walk in and say "hey', I found these dirty old coins my dad kept stashed in a coffee container, in his old workbench etc. Handled infrequently (if ever) and the young adults would come before they were just going to chuck the chainge away or go blow it at Wendy's.

The guy selling them to me is not a coin guy, or girl, and really just wants some money for a dinner and a date

Any opinions are appreciated. If what lies beneath the dirt and grime is a pretty sweet coin I would pursue it. It's just kinda hard to tell just from the pics. Does the coin have the details needed along with the fundamenals?[/QUOTE]
