I stopped buying early 1800 and pre1800 coins for my collection because the fakes are so good now. Just go to Alibaba and search for the coins and you'll see tons of bad and great fakes. It's just maddening to see these coins and hear that they may all be fakes. That's a lot of $$$ someone can lose buying them. Best to at least send one in to PCGS/NGC unless you've been hearing the same thing from the local coin shops. I know three coin shops I go to that would think they are real (if proper material and weight). Another high end coin shop that probably would identify them as fake.
This many high grade examples of early silver is highly suspect as it is. The surfaces of the coins show no sharp detail and are dull and lifeless. They also have the same dull grey surfaces I've seen on many Chinese counterfeits. I vote 100 percent they are all counterfeits.
