Need help verifying if this is a 1955 Lincoln cent double die or poor man's die.

Because the term "double die" suggests that the planchet was struck twice, whereas, the term "doubled die" suggests that the working die was struck twice by the working hub. There is a big difference!

But Chris, as my picture suggests, this is a term which, correctly or not, has evolved over time. You can't fault people for using a term that has been evolving.

Truthfully, the die isn't doubled as much as it is slightly rotated creating a doubled image.

So, does this mean no one has any double die pennies :)?
