I'm still learning, and I appreciate any help. So any info would be much appreciated. Is this considered just a "trinary" note? Or is it a quad-trinary ? If that's even a name... (7,7) (1,1) (1,1) (3,3) (77,13,13,11) Thanks in advance!
Welcome to Coin Talk @Bogardis I would say your note is interesting at best. Phrases like trinary and bookend are generally only used on eBay for sellers to hype their note. Most serious collectors do not pay any attention to these. If you like it keep it....to me it would be a spender.
Trinary is a made up term to fool people into believing something is collectible and valuable. It may look cool, and you may even be able to sell it to collectors at a profit. But the reality is, it's just face value.
Thank you. That helps saying that both those terms don't really mean much outside of eBay hype. I'd like to steer more into actually collecting notes that people would appreciate, rather than be considered a rookie forever. Thanks for the info
Thanks. I'm glad people in this forum are straight up and tell it like it is. I don't wanna be stashing bills that, in essence, shoulda been spent. Appreciate the info!
