Need help on 1979 Canadian cent...

    Found in a roll today. What limited information I have found, says it's a doubled die error. To me it could also be a MD error. Any thoughts? 1979crop1.jpg 1979fullrev.jpg 1979fullobv.jpg

    Possible die deterioration doubling ? See how the outline is wavey in areas and more irregular .

    Also it is on both sides of the device(s). Normally a good clue for DDD

    Yes, when on both sides it is a signature case of Mechanical Doubling.
    As in while the coin was struck there was some vibration, creating this appearance.
