From a coin lot I recently purchased seller states its a 1922-1926 Japanese 50 Sen is that correct?Also if its genuine,looks like it to me but not sure if these are highly counterfeited.

Yep, looks like Taisho 13 (1924) Unlike early 20th century Chinese silvers, I don't think Japan 50 sen are commonly counterfeited. Usually they are pretty affordable--more than melt, but not enough to attract fakers. Yours looks fine to me. Here's my Taisho 3 (1914)
