Need help identifying

    Yours is Year 13 (1924). Probably not worth counterfeiting.

    Yep, looks like Taisho 13 (1924)
    Unlike early 20th century Chinese silvers, I don't think Japan 50 sen are commonly
    counterfeited. Usually they are pretty affordable--more than melt, but not enough to attract fakers. Yours looks fine to me. Here's my Taisho 3 (1914)
