Need help identifying please

    A "parking lot penny", as mentioned.

    Well, yes, finding a chewed-up penny is better than stepping in dog doo, I suppose.

    Find a fountain or wishing well. Throw it in. Make a wish. Maybe the next find will be better.

    im guessing its a Lincoln penny and im also guessing that someone was bored and decided to get a pair of channel-lock pliers, sat down and just used those pliers on the penny over and over until it looks like it does in your pictures.........im just guessing and it could be road kill

    @David Rogers. You shouldn't take the term "road rash", "parking lot penny", "road kill", literally. It's used to described a coin that is so badly damaged that it may have been run over by vehicles, but it could also have happened any number of other ways. You can take a coin and use various tools to make it look just like the one you posted.
