Need help for Mizozuman2!!!

Actually, Miz is very lucky he has a mom who cares about him. So I think that Miz should show his mom these threads and ask her to consider what she would feel comfortable doing in helping him get his prize without interfering with her being responsible for Miz. There has to be a way, because if I was in this situation with my boy (who is now grown up), I would want him to have the prize because coin collecting is such a neat hobby.

So I say have Miz share his enthusiasm for his hobby and share what this forum is with his mom and dad. I am sure that they as parents can come up with a viable solution. Many of the people on this forum are actually (even though they may not share their real names and locations) just interested in the hobby and have no ulterior motives.

I agree about the PO box, etc. But even though many people do put their real locations, some kids actually are told by their parents to put a different town on their profile (like he may reside in a town close to but not in that town, or it's a large enough town to not really make a difference). As far as that city is concerned, I've been through there years ago, and it's not that large as cities go.

 

Chris, ultimately the answer has to come from his parents, I think. If there is a way Mizo can put the two of you in touch, you then might be able to work it out. If not, well then we all learned something here, regarding contests, and anonymity. An odd world today, so all these concerns are very valid, for each of us, and not just the kids.

Perhaps your (coin-collecting) teacher could arrange the delivery through your Chief of Police. If your Mom is okay with this idea, I could call Chief Boren to make the arrangements to send it to him, he could arrange for your teacher to pick up the package and deliver it to you. I could send it to "Mizozuman2" c/o Chief Tom Boren and this way I wouldn't have to have your name.

lol, i know him, but i also know another officer, he's my sisters best friends father! i might ask my mom if we could send it to the police station and have him drop by my place whenever they get it.

Miz, you should show this thread to your mom. I'm not suggesting she change her mind about giving out the address or anything. Thats probably smart. But seeing how many people are discussing this, and just want to help might make her feel a little bit safer about whats going on here

Btw, not sure if it would help, but I have relatives who live in KC and NE Missouri, as well as a childhood friend in St Louis. I do not want you to tell where you live in MO mizozuman, but if those geographies helped, and your mother wanted to meet in a public place to get the prize, you could PM me or CPM9BALL and we could work something out.
