So I called GSC direct and had a decent conversation with Bobby--he has been my contact in the past. I told him I had reservations about this coin(1936s) for a couple of reasons. One was the nicks on the obverse side, and the other was if the coin was cleaned. He said this particular coin has not been cleaned--according to him. He did say that in his opinion the reverse would grade out around ms65, but the nicks on the obverse would keep it around an ms63. In his words if I want a true ms65--I should NOT buy this coin and hold out for a better one. That seems like a pretty honest conversation to me. He did say that if there is a coin that have bad hairlines or appears to have been cleaned they make mention of that--but I have to say I've never seen that in any of their descriptions. So needless to say--based upon my conversation and the suggestions of everyone here--I will not be bidding on that coin, lol. He did take my email and said he is attending a major coin how in a couple of weeks and if he finds a graded coin at ms65 he will let me know. So we shall see how it all plays out. Thanks again everyone,

Roger
