I have accumulated several (many) world currency notes, and I need to begin the process of identifying and organizing them. Please share with me what you consider to be the best one or two reference books available. Most of my paper money is from the last 100 years, but is from all over the world. I prefer a book to a website. Thanks.
I used to use the World of Paper Money books. They're expensive you might be able to buy used copies from LCS, local coin clubs, shows or libraries. https://www.amazon.com/slp/world-paper-money/d4xx4tkg9ujn89u https://www.google.com/search?q=wor....69i57j0l7.11050j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
Best online resource I’ve found to date for World notes. Sorry, I’m unable to recommend a book/guide. http://banknote.ws/
Here is a couple I've used. https://worldbanknotegallery.com/Inst-ID/index.html http://www.aanotes.com/collecting/banknotes/currency_identification/index.html Good luck.
One of the best notes in the picture will not be found in a standard reference book. It is the Opeation Crossroads short snorter.
"Oh, you mean these? This is why I need to get these bills organized. History here." Do you know anything about them?
Operation Crossroads was the name given to nuclear tests at Bikini in 1946. Google it for the full history. There are a handful of different notes that were printed to be used as short snorters for the event.
