IMG_1785.JPG IMG_1783.JPG IMG_1781.JPG I just picked this silver eagle up at my local coin shop today and this has some funky toned colors. So is this natural or man made ??? IMG_1780.JPG

Like I was talking to the dealer and I asked him was it man made or what ?? He doesn't know, but the color looks pretty cool. I am just wondering how they get the blue color on the coin ??

I'm not sure I'd describe the person who created that abomination as a "man."

Lol. I have a clad Kennedy at home that looks worse than this one. I bought it on purpose to show new collectors what bad AT looks like.

Defiantly a different from if AT "artificial toning" but I like it. I've experimented with old silver coins using heat and eggs. Nothing ever came out looking like that though.
