I'm more of a coin person, but I saw this at a show a few months back. I thought it was pretty cool, being that I used to live in Newark and that's where my Grandfather is from.

Just joined and was searching thru the forums. Saw there was a wish/watch list so thought I would add mine. Texas, Abilene. Any size/issue. Have a couple but am always looking to get a complete collection.

Caldwell, NJ Type 2

Picked this up on eBay the other day. Type 2, only TWO known besides this one, and mine apparently isn't in any census reports.

 

Ouch, the cheapest Oakland note completed on eBay was for $77... And the cheapest currently for sale is $380! The rest of the Easy Bay is either not there or is much more expensive...

 

I found one of my cities for a pretty good price. The $50.00 Detroit MI national. My other city, Phoenix, is just too expensive! It would take me a long time to save money for that note. I tend to collect what I like when it comes to 1929 Nationals. Odd town names and the like. Here is my newest addition.

 

Newport, PA was in the last Heritage Auction and sold for WAY more than I expected it to in that condition. Let's just say I wasn't the highest bidder.

 

Anyone found the Puerto Rico yet lol

I knew I wouldn't be happy seeing the price on that Evanston when you put all those dollar signs. Oh well, maybe in 20 years .

Large-size Johnstown, PA note sold for well above estimate in the last Heritage auction, although there is a rougher small-size $5 on there ending tonight I hope to get. I'm not going crazy over it though, so we will see tomorrow if I won it.

 

I got word today that I won a large-size Tampa National in the same Heritage auction that Matt mentions.
Will post a scan when it arrives.

 

Didn't get either of the Johnstown notes as they went well above what I would pay for those examples.
