I didn't know what forum to put this in so I'm trying this one. Found this in a box of misc. coins I bought at an auction a few months ago. I do understand it is considered a "round tuit" but most I come across are the wooden nickle type that are just ink printed. This one seems bronze? and diameter is 1 3/16" with thickness being 1/16". Here's a few pics - I appreciate any info - heck, I'll appreciate any sarcasim too!! :)

It's something that serves as a reminder to get things done or as a pocket piece reminds you that you can get things done.

This is an "a round tuit"... as in "I'm going to get around to it".

Do a Google Image search for simply tuit, there's all kinds of them.

A few hits turned up the same PMI Cleveland Ohio token as yours mentioned or shown in various coin club meeting mintues, but none I read, explained who PMI were specifically. May have to try consulting one of those clubs or search organizations or companies in that region to figure out which it may be for.

After some searching I can tell you this:
Don D. also owns or owned this token, and showed it off at the 999th meeting of the Chicago Coin Club: http://www.worksandwords.com/coins/ecc/ecc0205.htm and http://www.chicagocoinclub.org/chatter/2002/Apr/(search for the word tuit on this link). Apparently he found his in Argentina

PMI is stands for Project Management Institute (http://www.pmineo.org/index.php/about-us) and offers scholarships in Ohio (perhaps TUIT is for Tuition?) https://www.scholarships.com/financ...ips/pmi-neo-leadership-institute-scholarship/

Tuit Night (Thursday) is a great night for clubbing in Cleveland: http://www.clevescene.com/scene-and-heard/archives/2008/03/06/get-tuit-tonight-at-parmas-bamboozles

Perhaps some of this, or none of this will be useful :)

Nice, I didn't think of the pun... I must own that token to hand it to my wife when I want to "play with my coins"

Yeah, those are the same hits of info I saw too, but none explained the token or what PMI was, just mentioned or shown an example of the same token. The photo shown on the Chicago Coin Club link bears the disc-shaped indent over the first letter T of TUIT, different placement from the OPs token with similar mark on it.

Normally, I have some dandy sarcastic comments, but Im tapped out from this weekend. A ton of people on facebook were posting graded 5 figure value coins and asking

"Hi, I just bought this and I was wondering what its worth"
