It is a real coin and since Razz already guessed it my hint is that its coming from Vatican city. I would guess its a shrimp we see here.
Good guess Wittwolf. The 1834 ruble is a special commemorative ruble as it is the first silver commemorative coin that circulated. I'm a bit partial as I've seen it in person. The coin does not look Russian at all as the engraver is German - Heinrich Gube.
