july 8 now no update?

 

The original expression is "champing at the bit" instead of "chomping", but yes, I'm becoming a little skeptical wondering about this "contest".

gbroke seems to have disappeared. His last post was on 6/22, about an hour after his final contribution to this thread.

He was averaging more than 1 post per day, and this seems to be his longest absence. Wonder if something has happened to him?

 

Hi all, I did not disappear! I took a well deserved vacation! I am back now, sun burnt and back to work. I will be reviewing the massive amounts of entries and choosing my top 10 favorites for your vote.

First of all, thank you for all of your submissions for the naming contest! There was a tremendous response with some excellent ideas. Sorry for the delay, but life happens.

One of the biggest factors in choosing the new name was the availability of the domain name. I didn't mention this in my OP because I didn't actually want you guys to see if the name was available. Some registrars are sneaky and will snatch up a domain name that you look up if it is available. This was a very tough decision. Some of you were very creative! and others... just plain funny! I will post a list of all the names in the future.

So, congratulations to mikenoodle for the winning submission of: coinnection

I will be rolling out the first part of coinnection in the coming weeks, which will just be the community grading section. Stay tuned!
