    It's a better-struck Peacock, but I like the bust on your coin better.

    I actually discovered the type last year when 2 were being sold by Alex Fishman. They where in the $350 range. Since I was trying to fill spots in my OFEC, naturally native Indian Post Gupta Hunnic opposition had to be represented.
    I wrestled with the idea of spending good money on ugly obscure coins. After reading about this history, the ruler and the rarity of the specimens, I pushed it high on my list. I found several very good modern fakes.:woot:
    I looked for quite sometime and noticed on another board earlier this year that a collectors of Indian coins where buying these and time was running out, I saw the price climbing.

    I made a deal with a dealer and got a piece that had enough fault, authentic style and crust to real. I am so pleased with the example at the moment. I has happy to scratch it off the list.
