Go ahead and keep insulting people, that's what you do best. Did you insinuate that I am stupid? A nice touch.
It only shows how sick you really are.

    Oh, the sweet, sweet irony...

My endless apologies for so seriously triggering you over what was quite clearly a lighthearted joke. I should have known the obvious simply too much for certain people to grasp.

@Ezy, just wanted to explain why this isn't a mint error. If it was a real mint error, it would look much different. The planchet would possibly be of an irregular shape, and there would be more design details of the die present on the coin.
Notice the large concave area near the ST? That indicates post mint damage. The real thing looks quite different.
If you still wish to have the coin authenticated, visit a local PCGS or NGC authorized coin dealer and submit it to either grading service. However, it will be a waste of time, as this coin is clearly not an error.
    Hope this helps.

I'm not lying, to be called a liar for asking for information from a so called professional community? HA! Yost of you boys are so jealous it's funny lol... I took a picture last night of a coin that had been struck more then once and still kept it's shape, and it was off centered just like my coin so it's possible, don't tell me it's not anymore because you can't fathom new ideas. It's possible that it got slammed twice and that's why there isn't more markings, and also since it got slammed by a another penny, the die wouldn't have made contact with the planchet to make more markings on it...Fresh minds for this community may just save it. I specifically asked if anyone had heard of a counterfeit story from the 50's of this coin? Or if anyone has any example of a coin that looks similar? This coin very well COULD be from the mint but nobody wants to admit it because it's hard to imagine. I'm not a liar and I take serous offense to being called one Fred, you pompous man. Can't even scope a coin at a coin show after someone contacts you and travels there? You couldn't even scope it and you seriously think you're giving it a real chance and not auto judging me? Whatever dude, I saw how you acted and I'm not dumb. You scoughed at me and now you call me a liar because you're not capable of understanding this, that's not expertly behavior. That's pompous rockstar attitude dude. Maybe I will get it graded maybe I won't, either way the coin is worth $20,000 as is. You need to try and wonder why a pro would offer $20,000 for this coin and think a little harder. You don't have to be a part of this though, nobody is forcing anyone to. I came on here for INFORMATION, not judgements so bug off with your judgements if you can't communicate like a good person and don't call me a liar, because that makes YOU the liar, Fred. If anyone has Pauls contact, link him up. I'm not lying and not afraid to talk. I stand by my words, don't try to assassinate my character Fred, you understand me? You keep spreading lies about me we're gonna have an issue dude. That's slander. You understand? You owe me an apology, Sir. I am highly offended by your lies about me and my character. How dare you sir!

I truly regret tagging Mr. Weinberg on this stupid thread. I apologize to him.

This has been a very unpleasant thread. The OP needs to stop yapping because he has said enough. Take your Cent and please go away!

After reading this thread and posting once, I’ve had enough.
The OP refuses to speak civilly to the members here, and seems to only want to hear that this is a mint error, which it is NOT.

Anyone that understands the coining chamber of a mint press, knows that this coin did not leave the mint looking like this. You would have to have coins that had already been struck, being fed back into the chamber. The center coin would have to flip and land perfectly on top of the first coin in the chamber and that's after a strike that transferred the ST to the center coin from a third coin.

It didn't happen at the mint but you could make these at home with a shop press or a vise. Fred is correct. You won't fool him with something as simple as this.

I was going to make a sample just like this, but I couldn't get myself to commit to a minute or two to create one just for the argument sake of it ...

I'm the same but my press is broke. Transfer the ST to one coin and press it into the next coin. You get the ST looking correct and the Liberty reversed.

One thing I have discovered over the years is that brevity and conciseness are the hallmark of a good argument. Anyone who rambles and repeats ad nauseum is usually someone who: 1. Is a poor loser; 2. Cannot think clearly; 3. Does not have a good argument to put forth, or; 4. Does not have good manners.

Sometimes all four happen at the same time. It is rarely productive to engage them in any dispute. So why is this thread well over 100 posts long?

I have only the best coins. People love my coin. Trust me when I say that people tell me "wow, you have the best coin". I'm going to win so much with this coin. You are going to get tired of all the winning. You all are just spouting fake news about my coin because you are jealous haters. SAD.

    Yup,
it's also an unbalanced squeeze as the lower & mid half of the bust is pressed in but nothing on the top half. Showing that there definitely was not a 223 ton minting penny press on the objects.

But, I just don't feel like doing it as I know it's simple to do .. so why bother ?

OP, you do not have to mail coins in to get graded. Take it to a coin show and have it grade it for you there. It costs more, but that is the best way, IMO, for "expensive" coins. I'm not saying that you have an expensive coin there, because it is obviously worthless as others have said. You can't seem to understand that though, so just go ahead and believe that your coin is worth 20k. You obviously won't change your mind.

I'm thinking about taking a drive to a friend's house (he has a vice), taking a 1955 penny, and doing the same thing that was done to yours...just to show you that it can be done.

Anyways, this has been a very entertaining thread, and I enjoyed reading it. I find it funny when a newbie thinks they know more than all of the experts at this community.
