Again, your coin has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the 1955 DDO. Nothing, nada, zilch, zip... nothing.

And I'm starting to wonder if this Paul fellow may have offered $20 just for a certain someone to go away. I swear I'm going to barf if the "open mind" crutch is used even one more time.... ;)

I probably will now because this is getting to be ridiculous lol. It's a lucky charm though, something I want to keep on me and not in the mail for a month. When I was out in CA I talked to PCGS but they insist on mailing coins. You can't deliver or pick them up and I didn't feel comfortable putting this in the mail at the time. Money isn't everything anyway, I'm not trying to sell the coin or value it in terms of money. I think the story is cooler. It's already worth $20,000 as is and I wouldn't sell it. This is the only coin like this, ever. Even if some artisan did this in his shop and it's fake, it's still fine art on a great subject of American Culture. Our want for more money and what we'll do for it. This coin defines America if it's a fake and that makes it worth more then if it's real. That's why I don't care about getting it graded but I will reach out to the Numusmastic community with this and see what people think. It's always worth listening to people even if you don't agree.

Sorry but it isn't worth squat. Also, why do you insist on writing one giant block of text? Break your thoughts into coherent sentences and paragraphs. Make it easier for us to read your ramblings.

I don't have his number, do you? I'll call him tomorrow, it's Paul Joseph though, we clear? Somebody let me know because I never said Paul D.F. Mr. clarity lol. I said Paul from Anacs, see? You are assuming again Fred and that is foolish business. That's exactly what you did with this coin man. You think you know everything? I would refer you to Socrates.. Edited

Now wait just a second partner..... You start this whole affair off offering your artistic resume as though it lends credence to your numismatic resume. Well, I spent a decade and a half sharing stages with rock icons long before you were a glimmer in your daddy’s eye. My youthful exuberance lends nothing to my numismatic credence. Neither does yours. Your artistic view of numismatics lends nothing to your argument.

Then you spend countless posts of near gibberish belittling many of the well educated numismatic minds here. Not only that but then go on to attempt to discredit among the most educated and revered in the industry that held your piece in his hands!

Is it youthful arrogance or simply poor manners? Partner, if your desire is to be educated and learn something about your piece, you are in the right place. However, please learn a bit of humility and appreciation for those here that have traveled many miles down this road.

Lol! I use "twinkle in your mother's eye." Get's you in the same place, really. The etymology on mine, FWIW, is Myrna Loy, in one of The Thin Man films. I forget which one. But yeah, that's going back a ways. But that was a great series, some real wit in those old scripts. :)

I'm just trying to digest that I would have a $20,000 coin and keep it as a "lucky piece"

Why, thank you! I will take that as a compliment coming from someone who has made no effort, short addressing the name issue, to do the very thing he faults me for.

Unlike you, Mr. Perfect, I tried to engage the OP earlier in the thread, but perhaps you didn't bother to read that far. Stupidity begets stupidity. This shouldn't be that hard to understand, even for you.

that's ok Mr. books, I reported your above barf post as being inappropriate and out of line. You win the insult of the day award.

Very, very impressive, sir. Wouldn't mommy be proud...

Considering where this thread has gone, I'm sure you've been a very buzzy, oops, I mean busy little bee.
