Went hunting with ANoob at the Cromwell coin show this last weekend. This lion reared it’s head & I very quickly pulled the trigger. I bagged the lion along with a couple other coins before ANoob could get off a single shot.

CARIA, Mylasa(?)

AR Stater

ca. 500 B.C.

11.01 grams

Obv: Lion forepart right

Rev: Divided incuse punch

Grade: Nicely centered XF with only the slightest tip of lion’s nose at flan’s edge.
