Just bought this at 2023 FUN. I liked the toning and strike (full facial features and six-pack abs on the Wildman!) The “light brushing long ago” commentary on the flip insert concerns me about its potential chances to straight-grade at a TPG, but Karl Stephens reckoned it had a 50-50 shot at straight-grading at NGC. He was less optimistic about its chances at PCGS. So I of course submitted it to NGC and shall now wait, with crossed fingers. If it does straight-grade, it’s definitely a keeper. If it fails to, and gets a “details” grade, I’ll flip it on down the line. The eye appeal is there, regardless (at least as far as my opinion goes). Since I’m from Brunswick (the one in Georgia, USA), it was high time I had a coin from German Brunswick.
