[QUOTE="tight wad, post: 424587, member: 15116"]My wife is a natural collector. She collects McCoy Pottery,Antiques, and so it was a given she would collect coins with me. I am a bit of a tight wad, she is not. I am a bit of a jerk sometimes, she is sweet and a good conversationalist. So, when I return to that new coin shop we visited, I shall have to apologise for some of my remarks.

I always buy junk "bargains" which turn out not to be, she pays top prices for coins which prove to be worth more than she paid, when we check Coin Talk magazine or other up to date sources.

So when she decided to collect a few Indian Heads, the dealer had some junk at $1.50 each, and she asked to see the ones in 2X2's. I'm going for 1900 through 1909."

Now, it looks like I have a collector on my hands.
