My way cool ebay purchase.

I bought this because the price was right. The picture on ebay didn't do it justice. When I got it today, I was very impressed with it. It has a really cool pink toning to it in the sunlight.

nice coin, but you do know it wasn't issued by the United States Mint? At current silver spot it's worth $18 to $19

 

I know, that's why I put it in the bullion section. I just thought it was cool looking.

Sure it wasn't issued by the mint. It's a liberty coin and that was the intent.

Very nice and it might certainly end up with a significant numismatic value given the history and current events (trial) around these coins.

For those who don't recognize it. Go to Wikipedia and look up Liberty Coin. It's an interesting story that goes directly back to constitutional issues around money in the USA.
