A few other points: If you have an NGC certified coin and don't want to crack it out because it may be less marketable than the PCGS counterpart--compare Bluesheet prices on an MS65 1891 $1--getting the CAC sticker for a good for grade coin will be a good play. I had an 1878-CC $1 in an ANACS MS66 holder that was good for grade. I went down to Sloats where they offered me 64 Bluesheet money, I cracked it, it came back in a PCGS 66 holder, Jim Halperin of Heritage liked it and bought it a little over Bluesheet. CAC would make a strong cash offer $1000 plus over Bluesheet if it passed. So CAC is a huge advantage for good for grade and high end coins. They will buy them!!! This is a dirty little secret many dealers don't want you to know, keep the collector in the dark and make lowball offers in a highly intimidating way. I asked another dealer when I was not a CAC submitter if I could have a submission form from him to send coins to CAC--he wanted everything coming back to him so he could make big bucks on my coins. The collectors need to be fully informed as to their options.
