There is much talk of course of discrimination coming from the state, but I recall watching on a documentary that the population of Iran today generally sees Zoroastrianism as part of their heritage and do not feel hostile towards it. In fact, I have met Iranians in London and they were a lot closer culturally to Europe than one would think. Many people, especially in the US, tend to put them in the same basket with Arabic nations which couldn&#039;t be more far from reality.
