First the kinda fun stuff. A partial collection of Walkers starting at 1917 and various dates through the 20's 30's and 40's. An ICQ graded (don't say it, I don't want to hear it) 1938-D Buffalo Nickel - however this one is a genuine D/D and I'll defer the grade until I can have it re-slabbed - but I'm thinking close to 66 if not spot on. It's a beauty. Now for the BAD stuff. A 1910 (possibly a 1910-S) Barber half dollar - in what would have easily been a 30 to 50 grade and worth bucks. However an artist (which I'm requesting help on identifying) used the coin to make a brooch - and has an ULTRA MEGA RELIEF (the head sticks up a half inch!) See pictures. A very rare 1936 Oakland commemorative half dollar - that has been carved out - leaving just the bear - and then mounted as a pendant on a sterling chain. A few Mercury dimes, one carved, one in a bezel. A 1964 Mint Set (2) 1962 Proof sets - and one of them definitely has a cameo Franklin half. I'll defer grading until I can get a fresh look at it in the morning.
