I didn't acquire very many stunning coins in 2016. I spent much of my numismatic time working on uncleaned and bulk lots. I got some nice coins of Tacitus, Aurelian, Victorinus, Diocletian, and Claudius Gothicus at a real budget price this way: I also made some purchases from auctions and at coin shows, my favorite of which is a sestertius of Maximinus Thrax. I also purchased an Alexandrian tet of Diocletian, a sestertius of Faustina Sr. and a middle bronze of Lucilla:
Those are very nice and many are "stunning" IMHO. My favorites are the Aurelians, Tacitius and the Max Thrax
Roman Collector => nice!! ... congrats on adding some great Roman coins to your collection (they're all sweet)
NICE thrid century run in 2016 RC! i'll have to go with the big ol' thraxman for my fav...but lucilla and 2nd aurelian are great as well. good year!
Hmmm? => Victorinus & Tacitus are probably my favs out of your amazing Top-10 (thanks for showing-off your stuff) Man, I absolutely love seeing other people's coins!!
Congrats on a fine year, @Roman Collector . My favorites are your "full meerkat" Aurelian and the Tacitus.
Nice Empire collection! They look super, and I would love to have them in my collection! Great captures.
