I agree and this one is an exceptional example of the version which we fondly remember from the one TIF posted along with her mixed media rendering. Who has the Rome mint one?
Again, thanks @Gavin Richardson for saying this. I'm usually pretty solitary about my collecting, so much so that some of the numismatic topics and goals I've been focusing on during the last several months and years have never been expressed in words before this. So it's encouraging to know that what is interesting to me is also interesting to you and other people.
All are dazzling and worthy of any collection. Thanks for sharing! The Caracalla, "Elephant Biga" is my fav. John
I really enjoy your list and the write-ups with each coin. As for the coins, there are some very interesting and attractive pieces. I like that many of your reverses show movement, and there's a lot of driving/riding going on. Especially Dionysos; he's sure has some nice ancient cars!
These are all excellent @benhur767 ! I am bummed that the poll closed before I had time to give this post the attention it deserves. My favorites are the stone of Elagabalus denarius and the Geta on a horse spearing enemies. Fantastic year and thanks for sharing!
