    It is Serbian medieval example, thin silver coins.

    gogili1977, You did well this year with an interesting variety of coins :D! I'm partial to Diocletian era folles but my favorite in your group is the Geta denarius :). Your denarius is a genuine example of a fake I purchased 53 years ago & posted in a thread Old Lesson from the School of Hard Knox :jawdrop:! For a comparison see both coins pictured below :wideyed:.

    My coin was made by Peter Rosa of NYC in the 1980s, & pictured by Wayne Sayles in his book CLASSICAL DECEPTION, Counterfeits, Forgeries, and Reproductions of Ancient Coins.
