Great acquisitions for your collection, @gogili1977 ! I like them all, particularly the Octavian quinarius, the Geta, the Elagabalus and the Vitellius provincial!
Splendid coins! I particularly like the Elagabalus with the “horn” and the priestly reverse, and the Maxentius. There’s a lot going on in that temple...
Great collection! I like Geta & Vitellius best. This one is out of my collecting area, and interesting. Thanks for sharing.
All excellent coins @gogili1977, congrats on a great year!! My favourites are the Elagabalus w/ sacrifice scene (both sides are spectacular), the Vitellius koinon (not something you see very often!), and the Stefan Uros IV (his queen looks like the court jester!).
I love the reverse of that Maxentius follis-- there is so much going on yet the engraver managed to show each element clearly. The Vitellius koinon and Elagabalus denarius are also top picks.
Great coins, the detail on your Maxentius temple is fantastic. Congrats on a great year of collecting.
Nice scores. Young Geta is very nice and Herennius from Viminacium isn't something you see everyday Well done Q
Your portrait of Maxentius is very beautiful and eye-catching. I've always felt he should have beaten Constantine.
Very nice coins, I like the Elagabalus, the Maxentius and the Octavian. Just one note about your photos. If you take your photos on a green background with "automatic white balance", your silver coins will have a magenta tone, that's the complementary color of green. Neutral gray is a better choice.
Great coins @gogili1977 . My favorites; #2 - What a nice portrait on that Geta #3 - I love these examples showing Elagabalus looking smug while wearing a bull don... I mean “horn.” #7 - What a great reverse. A cool architecture piece including the interesting interior figures. The she-wolf pediment is also wonderful. Great year
