Over the next 10 minutes, I wandered around looking at tables, until I found 1 that looked &quot;warm&quot; to me. I looked at their case, but they had mostly junk, silver dollars, and other things I know nothing about. I wasn&#039;t deterred though. I sifted through the junk boxes they had there, until I found 3 pieces worth buying, but nothing worthy of mention. Next dealer I bought the 4 new &quot;S&quot; quarters, but nothing else. At the third I found 2 1968-S cent rolls (original bank wrapped) that he sold to me for $1.50 for the pair. Considering that according to today the copper in them is about $2.39, I think it was a cute gimmick to buy, but as I was putting the change in my wallet I got interrupted as I was invited to lunch (Starbucks down the hall). After lunch, I bought something worth buying: an 1898 MS morgan for my &#039;98 mint set. The reverse has a lot of &quot;tractor&quot; marks from the rims of other dollars, but for $45, it didn&#039;t matter to me because of the intense luster and originality. It was getting later in the day, and I hadn&#039;t bought anything for awhile, until I found some interesting errors. The first was a &#039;20 merc with a die crack through the &quot;1&quot; in the date, and the second was a 95% off center nickel (modern)! To sum it up, I bought a VF 1898 &amp; 1899 V-nickel, 4 George Washington 1st day of issue NGC slabs (3 Phili, 1 Denver) at $5 each (don&#039;t know why...), a record holding 1803 cent (oldest coin), and a problem free 1926-S G-6 merc (been looking for 1 of those).
