Dearborn Above average collector - Is that an Error?

    Here are the first 8 ASE's 1986-S, 1987-S, 1988-S, 1989-S, 1990-S, 1991-S, 1992-S, 1993-P.

More to follow as I get these combined in the new program I just got. (Photoscape X) (thanks to @Inspector43) for getting out the information on this program. 1986-S - 1993-P ASE Silver Proof-tile.jpg

I had about 10-12 of them and then the milk spots started and I drifted away from collecting them. You seem to be doing well. Just the one (1987) seems toned.

yeah, but just slightly, and I hate it. Someday I'll replace it and use this one (the 87) to play Tiddlywinks with it

Great job. It is fun to put you collections in this format.

@Dearborn Do you have the coins in their original capsules? How did you prevent glare as you photographed them?

Yes, they are still in the OGP caps.
to keep down on the glare, I have a lamp placed a 6" away from the coin at K-10. In the lamp is an LED bulb that shines straight up and reflect off the white ceiling and back down to the coin. I hold the camera (my android phone in this case) almost directly overhead of the coin, but just slightly towards the K-6. I zoom in to fill the screen and still have it up and far away to let the light on it.
I'll repost a coin from above but full frame so you can see how the lighting hits the surface. You can see the camera just over the sun on the coin and a bit of the glare curving around the 'B'. If I held the camera more to the right the glare would take over and spoil the shot. Basically the glare will follow the camera just as a very distant object (like a tree) seem to follow you while traveling in a car (or truck).
Now if you go back and look at all the coins above, you will see the glare is all to the extreme left and almost off the edge.

yes it is. It took me a long time to figure it out (about 5 minutes) and get the format correct like you did with what you did.

Very impressive continuous collection. I'd say most of us ASE collectors do not have the collection complete.

Very nice job. Question for you. Did you purchase all the coins as mint issued? Or did you acquire some, or all for that matter, on the secondary market?

Thanks for the comment. I do love the ASE's
Well, a little of both, I reckon. Got started on the ASE's around 2016. So those after I got from the mint, the ones before on the secondary market. but there were a few that were given to me as a gift.
