Nice SC's, but fairly common. Don't let the series date fool you. The series 1935A were distributed in the late 30's thru the early 40's, and the series 1935E were distributed in the early 50's thru the late 50's.....and they printed more than 5 billion of them.
They're actually more than half a billion serial numbers away from each other. The suffix letters advances from J99999999C to J00000001D, and so forth.
Other way around. It goes from J99999999C to K00000001C, and then once it reaches Z..C it rolls to A..D and so on. All letters except O are used, so there are 25 blocks per suffix letter. So these J..C and J..I serials are separated by 150 blocks, or 15 billion notes!
