For one thing it is fun at first as you get a coin better than in set #1. So you then place the new one in set #1 and move the one from #1 to #2. Eventually, if you get like me, you spend a real lot of time moving coins from set #1 to #2, #2 to #3 and on and on and on. By the time I get to #11, I start wondering why not just go watch TV or something.

Although, when you open #1, it is really a great feeling to see all those really nice ones all in one set. However, the down side is never to compare #1 to #12 or that last one will make you really irritated.

I've found it easier to work multiple sets than to attempt filling just one. Of course you go around with a sheet of paper listing what is required for many sets of the same coin. Still waiting to fill one set alone is depressing to me if there is always those last expensive ones just not there.

As to your cleaned coins. I too have purchased cleaned coins in the past. If they are obviously cleaned looking and you are irritated with that, try the following. Place that coin on a closed kitchen window sill on the inside of course. You'll have to leave it there for a few months pending the usage of the kitchen. Turn it over every few weeks. If your using your kitchen normally, fumes from the cooking will slowly tone down the cleaning looks of most coins. Enough to place in an album.
