I can't find a record of one at Heritage, Great Collections, or Stacks & Bowers

That may not be too bad, remember the ceiling gets low on both sides of the curve. Keep right.

New additions to my collection since the original post (I know I said I won't do proofs, but I couldn't resist!)

I look at that Large Cent blank, and say to myself - "How did that make it 150+ years without being tossed, or mistaken for a piece of scrap?"

I thought the same thing. James Buchanan was president around 150 years ago.

More family members arrived today. These are both unburnished Sacagawea/presidential dollars, type 1 (blank) and type 2 (planchet with upset rim). The type 1 isn't labeled " unburnished" on the slab, but it is unquestionably unburnished and lacking its shiny golden plating and appearance.

More new additions: Silver Quarter planchet; Clad Quarter Proof planchet; Silver 40% silver $1 Ike planchet....and...(drum roll, please!)...the Type-II Proof Ike planchet is especially ultra-rare and is a beauty!
