<p>[QUOTE=&quot;Log Potato, post: 1398238, member: 26787&quot;]I had a good time guessing the grades with my first PCGS submission.&nbsp; I decided to start a thread here to post my guesses for this submission.&nbsp; I will be submitting these coins at the Baltimore show, so I probably wont see grades until May or so.</p><p><br /></p><p>1) 1853 A&amp;R 50C - Was in an ANACS 35 holder, and I see it holdering at the same grade</p><p>2) 1893-O 50C - Darkly toned coin, light on the liberty but great detail throughout - My grade 20</p><p>3) 1894-S 50C - lighter colored coin with ghosting of the design elements.&nbsp; Probably from a long ago dip - My grade 20</p><p>4) 1895 50C - My grade 20</p><p>5) 1895-O 50C - This is a gorgeous VF Barber half, it has a rim issue that might put it in a BB.&nbsp; My grade 25 w/o the issue, hopefully they net it at 20</p><p>6) 1900-O 50C - Perfect original color, I&#039;m split on the grade VG10/F12&nbsp; Im hoping for the 12 since it is a softly struck date.</p><p>7) 1901-O 50C - Nice look for a tough date.&nbsp; I say 25</p><p>8) 1902-O 50C - Weakly struck, but I think it will go 15</p><p>9) 1903-S 50C - The date that got a BB for me in my last round.&nbsp; I think this coin will get a solid 15</p><p>10) 1904 50C - Ex NGC 20, I see it getting the same grade</p><p>11) 1905-O 50C - The most prized piece I have acquired so far.&nbsp; Such a tough date, and this one is great looking.&nbsp; I&#039;m thinking 25</p><p>12) 1907-O 50C - Ex NGC 12 I think it should be in a 15 holder if not a 20</p><p>13) 1908-S 50C - Nice crusty Barber, this is the look I love.&nbsp; I say 30</p><p>14) 1911 50C - Ex NGC 12.&nbsp; This should make it in a 15 holder no problem[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
