I think weirdest thing about this thread for me is that seeing how often MCM and owner post on Collectors Universe that it took a google search to find Cointalk. Guess I just thought this was one of the three most popular sites? Makes me wonder what the heck is out there that I am missing.

 

What are the other two?

Two weeks, see there!! I am tired of hearing people come on here and bad mouth companies who don't deserve it. It's simply not cool to do!! Thank you Andrew (MCM) for showing up and standing up for your company.

On a separate but similar note it seems like more people than normal have been showing up on this forum asking the group to help them run some questionable seller off of ebay. That's just nuts!! Knock it off already and get a life!!

 

It's a classic "He said - She said" with absolutely no way to discern who is right.
I've dealt with MCM and had no problems but they clearly messed up on the OP's order.

I agree 100% - the PCGS board is infamous for the private grudges being aired over there. I hope this forum doesn't descend into that level.

And, bent over backwards, from the sounds of it, to make it right, including shipping more expensive coins, which the OP didn't order, and never mentioned in their posts of this thread, and would have had to pay more for, like the First Strikes, and Early Releases.

Well - only other two that I go to are collectors universe (PCGS sponsored) site and coin community. Have found others but they may get 2 new posts a day.

Lots of great info on CU but I am more of an NGC guy and all they do (70%) is bash "ATS" across the street - they can't even say NGC. I'm not a member I just lurk there.

I like the third party graders and commem threads on coin community but some of their other thread designs are annoying.

Of course I like Cointalk the best but abhore the fact that if u don't start off your thread kissing the experts butt you ending up getting a few grumpy responses. This is a place to learn and some here I am sure scare off new collectors with their responses...just as I won't buy from grumpy brick and mortar dealers. Life's too short to be grumpy especially when dealing with your hobbies.
