It took me years to put all these special serial number star notes together. I spent a lot of money but its worth doing it as I enjoy collecting them.

The red seals have always been my favorites, too. Not that that means anything to anybody, lol.

 

I'll bet that one can fetch something. Be glad too in that grade of circulation a corner wasn't torn off to bring some bettor luck at the window...

 

I don't know what it is...but red seals have always been REALLY cool to me. I want to get one of the $100 red seals one day.

 

The bright red seals are usually Legal Tender Notes. The darker red/maroon labels tend to be National or Fed notes. But you probably already know this.

The Legal Tender $100 notes are surprisingly more affordable than I thought they would be, if you consider somewhere between $300 - $1700 affordable for an EF - UNC example. You might be able to get a VF or lower for not too much over face.
