@Mountain Man - what an incredible missed opportunity for the Boy/Girl Scouts. What's even more disheartening is that there seems to be waning interest in younger generations (or at least the people responsible for sparking interest within them). I'm lucky in that my youngest has taken an interest and even decided he would like to collect coins with various cats on them. He's got a bobcat, a puma, and a couple of lions already. My daughter isn't super into the idea of collecting, she's 14, but she does take some interest in looking at the various world coins I currently have (largely thanks to you). I'd hate to see Coin Collecting go the way Stamp Collecting has, I suppose that's not likely but there does seem to be a lack of public interest. Even at 42 I feel like I'm already the elder generation talking about things we did in the prehistoric era

As for your collection - you've kindly sent me coins already and I would say others should have first shot, but aside from working on my birth year set I'm a large fan of Egypt and the mythology and history. If you need somewhere to send coins of that nature - I'd give them a good home (also happy to pay for postage/handling)

That's a pretty cool idea, although geocaches are often subjected to alot of moisture. I have a half dozen or so and as well as I waterproofed them I've had to hike out and replace them from time to time. Also sounds like Mountain man would need to appoint someone to place them for him. Does give me some ideas though, I haven't done much geocaching for a few years.
