They run around $12 or so and provide a wealth of information that can be very useful to a collector just starting out. For example, in the book there is a rough guide on how to grade both Indian Cents and Lincoln Cents, mintage stats for every date and mintmark combination, and values (which will be much more accurate than Coinflation) for all dates and for various grades in each date. The book also has lots of history and photos of each series.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Beyond that, NEVER NEVER NEVER clean your coins. Doing so will destroy most if not all value the coin may have.
