My Peace Dollar collection is complete *at least until I upgrade a coin* I'm exhibiting "Numismatic And Other Works Of Anthony de Franchisci" this weekend at our local coin show - the 59th Anniversary Show for the Sacramento Valley Coin Club. I start with the 1920 Maine Commemorative, then the Peace Dollars in circulated, AU, and then the Registry set. It also contains the Society of Medalist's 1935 (12th Edition) winner - Francisci - Fiat Vita Last is the "Ruptured Duck" Honorable Service Discharge Pins - issued in WW2 Note the swoopy and soft art styles of all of his work that continues throughout his life. I'm missing the 1964 World's Fair token - his last major work, but I think I've found one and it will be in the next exhibition. Enjoy! More pictures to come soon! The entire registry set can be viewed here. It is currently ranked 16th of 889 Registry Sets on NGC's site. http://coins.www.collectors-society.com/registry/coins/SetListing.aspx?PeopleSetID=174970
Very impressive collection to own and well displayed. Thank you for sharing; I've never seen so many in one place like this.
I'm glad there's at least one other person who shares my Peace upgrade sickness. Awesomely displayed collection Brett!!
