My local taxi company pays $10 hour plus you keep your tips ( of course) and they pay the gas, I figure that would be $15/hr easy !</p><p><br /></p><p>Other places&nbsp; ( cities) lease you the cab for a daily fee and you pay the gas, but keep the fares and tips.</p><p><br /></p><p>I live in a very small town of 6,000 people in Ct. Cabs are needed everywhere. I imagine much of the work in Essex, Ct would be taking seniors to their doctors, and stuff like that.....maybe an occasional run to the Hartford airport ( 65 mile cab rides are expensive, Maybe $150 there ? ).&nbsp; I could see somebody saying take me to the casinos....probably close to a hundred for that ?</p><p><br /></p><p>I don&#039;t think I&#039;ve ridden in a taxi more than 5 times in my life, and I lived in Vegas for 6 years.</p><p><br /></p><p>I think Timmy could drive a cab successfully and make decent &quot;coin&quot; doing it.[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
