My next batch of ancients to clean

    I'm not getting them to show quality. I just want them nice and identifiable. It takes hours of soaking and light touch to get anything out of them. Take some prospects and start soaking them. If you decide to clean some please keep us up to date.

    Oh, I’ve tried. A few were decent but I fear I don’t have the light touch nor the patience needed. :)
    Still, it bothers me to think there may be a nice coin under the crud that I couldn’t get rid of haha.

    I'm still very much an apprentice. One thing I try to do before I start is to find a photo of the coin as it should be. Or, one very close. Then I print it and use it to keep me between the lines as much as possible.
