I'll say MS-66 solid for me, and I'll say they graded it either 66 or 67. VERY nice coin!! :thumb: Phoenix
I can not see how this coin made that grade. The scratches on the suit are so clear and other areas of the field.The lincoln cent is a small coin when you have that many marks like that and can be seen with the naked eye , coin should be dropped about at least two steps I think whoever graded this coin had a little to much to drink. I still give it a Ms63 well over graded in my eyes.only my opinion of course.:smile Jazzcoins joe
Believe it or not, this is what you see in hand. The right field is completely clean and nearly prooflike.
I see what everyone is seeing in the pictures. But I tend to believe RLM more because he has the coin in hand, coupled with NGC's high grade. I remember photographing my 1970-s small date, and was amazed at how many nicks scratches and such I saw in the photo that I couldn't see in hand, even under a 30x loupe from varying light angles. I was told these were likely die polish lines, though they clearly looked like nicks in the photo. John
