    Awwwww !!! When we would come in to visit mom I always told her don’t make the nutritious one she makes now, make the old days way lol. :shame:

    At 12 i started my 1st real job...gave up my paper route...a neighbor owned an Italian bakery in Baltimore. I swept up hand packed breads and rolls... by 15y/o... I was a master baker...by skills ...not by age...lol.

    But I love to cook and bake....i just made a platter of Irish sweet potatoes candies for the vet's ...we take the pup 2x a week for fluids.
    They are a local German / Irish treat here in the mid Atlantic.

    Dogs do love sweet potatoes. Eats those first. Then thinks about eating the dry stuff.

    My ex had a Saint Bernard that no matter how well you mixed them in with other food, the bowl was empty except for all the peas. You could count the peas you added and that was the same number she left in her bowl. Don’t know how a Saint Bernard could do that but it was always the same result.
