Nice collection, this is awesome and exactly what I need to do! I literally have sorted piles of coins on my floor, a desk covered in solo cups marked with different types of coins, and stacks of 2x2's all over the place. My 3 year old nephew came to visit a few weeks ago and yelled at me that my room was messy and I had too many coins lol. He said he was going to help me clean it up and then proceeded to take coins from my unsearched pile and combine them with my searched pile, good times.
Yeah. I almost lost all my wheat pennies. Got mixed up in my searched rolls and turned them in. And it wasn't just my wheat pennies... But that's what I really wanted back. And I went to hobby lobby and got this whole assortment in control! I wasn't organized at all.
Very nice, glad you were able to get them back and have organization now. Your thread has inspired me to try and organize my mess lol. Hopefully I can do something similar soon.
Make sure those pages are safe for your coins. Along the left edge where the holes are, they should say "archival" or "PVC-free" or something like that. If they don't, you can find PVC-free pages at a photo supply store near you, or order them from an online supplier.
So glad you got all of your coins back! You really have them organized nicely. I just roll them in paper bank wrappers, write WHEAT on the wrapper and place in a small cardboard box in my closet.
That's what I did too wrote what they were on them and had them in my treasure chest lol but I had them out to show my brother while I had my ones I was switching out that's how it happened..lol
