    Just kidding. I wish.

What's the one coin you pine away for?

I'd be willing to take out a 2nd mortgage if any of these three showed up at auction :)

Not sure I would be comfortable taking out a second mortgage, but I get and agree with your point.

Two of the three, but one isn’t worth more than melt value.

The OP Nigrinian sold in 2006 for 270,000 CHF...but one is possibly still in the nature being stolen from la Bibliothèque nationale de France. Keep your eyes open on Ebay.

I always wondered about the Alexander. The style really is nowhere near any of the bronzes and there's no other aurei to compare to but, presumably having passed muster with top talent of the early 90's I gave it a pass. I'm not surprised now that it was outed as BS but wonder what the backstory is.

I saw that Alexander of Carthage in NFA Auction catalogue, I think same one that featured the Saturninus Aureus/ both coins where mint state:) If, I would sell all my non-ancient AV coinage/ I could afford a whackload of MS aurei/ but its just to hard to break up with them;) NFA auctions had some super duper rarities.

Alexander of Carthage is probably the easiest to ID Emperor. His portrait is unique, also striking, definately my top choice.
