    Okay ... ummm, maybe I actually have a couple to add to your great thread? ...

    what a good idea for a collection,and very nice coins, think that the queen is monarch of 28 countries

    There was a reason why the Sun Never Set on the British Empire during the 1800s to mid-1900s. And if you count the countries that still feel some kinship/allegiance to the Crown, perhaps it still doesn't.

    Not all of them have Elizabeth II wearing the George IV State Diadem on their coins though. Some had her on them in the past but not now (Fiji) or didn't have her on them in the past but now do (Niue) or only had her on them one year (St. Lucia)

    Great Britain and Canada are the only two that don't have the Country (or Colony, or Bailiwick) on the face so those two are first, then the rest in alphabetic order:
