I clearly missed the second part of your post my friend.
I love my father in law and have known him less than half that time. I'm so sorry for your loss. This breaks my heart to think of.

It is honestly the first I could speak of it for a month. Covid is real, and is horrible.

Thank you so much for sharing. You telling people is how they know it is real as it gets. One of the strongest men I've ever known (ex NFL top draft pick) caught it and his lungs are shredded and he's still in the hospital months later. Still not sure how bad all the repercussions will be but clearly diminished quality of life. Which is still better than the alternative...
Anything a cynical pal from Utah can do to help make life easier, I'm here.

Now THAT'S what I wanted to see!
Thanks For always helping take my threads over the top!
Though, like mice elf, it sounds like you and everyone else has a few more lying around...

    Thank you.

I got Typhus when I was 13. I still remember it VIVIDLY 50 years later as if it were yesterday. I was deathly sick for 2 weeks. 103-104 temps, fetal position, hallucinations, vivid dreams, walking on ceiling, sweating buckets. A sportswriter, I believe with NHL, wrote about his experience with Covid, and survived. It was exactly my experience with Typhus. I would never want to relive that horridness - I was young and very strong/in-shape farm boy/sports.
