Porcius Laeca - silver denarius of Roman Republic c. 119BC. - That was my very first republican coin many years ago. I wish you many , many more as well. nice coin.
Welcome to CoinTalk Snorlax93, great coin with very nice detail. Hope you continue collecting and share all those ancient treasures with us.
That's a beautiful example of a Roman Republic denarius, and a great way to start your journey into ancients. Welcome aboard! I have one, not as nice as yours. Mine features a very aggressive banker's mark that follows the contours of Roma's nose/lips and causes a bulge on the reverse: Roman Republic Denarius M. Porcius Laeca (125 B.C.) Rome Mint Helmeted head of Roma right, LAECA behind, X below chin / Libertas in quadriga, crowned by Victory, M POR ROMA below. Crawford 270/1; Sydenham 513; Porcia 3. (3.83 grams / 19 mm)

Looks quite similar to this one. (Lucius Sentius 101 BC) I was showing it to a local friend recently and he was just flabbergasted that I had such an ancient coin in such good condition. Now he wants one. I may have created a new ancients collector.
