That is a beautiful coin, I love the look of those draped bust cents, finding them is always a problem, finding them in a nice condition is an even greater challenge.

Interesting this post resurfaced again after 1 year.

A coincidence too - I just retrieved this coin again yesterday (1796 DBC S-102) from my safe deposit box at the bank, after 1 year w/o seeing it.....

Glad to see people here like these DBC's like I do.
Marshall, please be sure to post your S-85 and S-86 when you get them. I am sure many here would love to see them.

Here is an S-112 which I picked up in the meantime. It is a fairly nice example, some marks on reverse and obverse, and some roughness, but nice overall, and a scarce variety at R4+.

That is a beauty eduard. I was hoping my 1830 and 1820 would show up today, but no luck. Need to visit the local dealer see what they might have that is new.

    I see I never answered Eduard's question from last year. No I don't have the 1796 NC's, the only NC's I own are the 1802 NC-1 and NC-2, and the 1803 NC-1.

The NC's command such a high premium, even over equally rare regular series Sheldons, that I'm unlikely to ever get one which is attributed.
